Play dress up with us in this sultry black Herve with crochet detailing. The added textural element is an opportunity to also show a peekaboo of skin without bearing too much. In this A-Line dress, all body types will be satisfied with how flattering the shape is. You'll be confident you chose the right cocktail dress when you look polished and feel incredible in your new Hervé!

MY HORIZONTAL LIFE

Stacking these bangles mimics the panels of bandage in the dress with their horizontal lines, giving the look a subtle cohesiveness. The crochet hem is a pretty alternative to Hervé normal cagey cutouts. It's softer and more flexible, providing more fluid movement.

GOWNS THAT MAKE US GASP

Some events just call for a long gown and we encourage you to embrace the opportunity to look and feel like a celebrity! Of course, a long black evening dress is the absolute queen of elegance and you just can't go wrong with a long black Herve. With a plunging neckline, this décolletage showcasing design elongates with that deep V. In our opinions, every woman should have a black gown in her wardrobe because it's a timeless piece you can wear, over and over in the years to come. This one has the soft yet sculpting bandage with flattering crisscrossing design that shapes you into an hourglass. Then, the snug silhouette flares at the knee and kisses the floor, finishing off the effect. Flattering, sophisticated and timeless. What more could you want out of your go-to gown?

DECORATIVE DARLING

Because this dress is both plunging and sleeveless, we have an opportunity to decorate some of that exposed skin in accessories. While there are a myriad of ways to accessorize this dress, but we chose to go a bit edgy with a fringe bib necklace. The gunmetal is adorned in crystals and finished with tiny chains. I like stacking bracelets, like this crystal bangle and nailhead bracelet. These accessories all work together in a similar theme without being over the top.

EASY DRESS UPSTYLED

Always a LIBERTÉ favorite, dresses that you can wear effortlessly on their own for an easy casual style OR with a few strategic tweaks to make them work for more dressy occasions. We cinched the waist with a metallic skinny belt pushed to the side of her body with the excess tied. Not only is this more stylish than a belt buckled dead center- but it creates a more flattering line by placing the bulk to the side.

COMPLIMENTARY

We aren't really fans of competing accessories, but rather a compliment (and never matchy, matchy!).  We wanted to continue our updated look so we paired this classic styled necklace in gunmetal and paired with our thunderbolt earrings - you know, because we love our Thunder players ;)  The shimmery necklace compliments the sweetheart style lace insert without getting in the way.

WEEKEND CHIC

Brunch, beach walks, and your every other occasion will be more stylish with this dress. It's lightweight fabric is done in contemporary vertical stripes and a surprising high side slit for a head turning effect ;)  The wrap style top is bra-friendly and ultra flattering only to be complimented even more with the braided suede belt. Pair with thong flat sandals for an adorable day look or dress it up with a block heel.

HOT IN THE CITY

As it starts getting sultry outside you'll be reaching for jewelry that is lightweight and versatile. The beauty and simplicity of our "Victory" necklace is that is draws the eye without dominating the look. Add these fun geometric earrings to play up the modern look without taking away from the necklace or dress.

CLASSIC BLACK AND WHITE

Take your crisp white button down and look like a style icon in full monochrome.  The absence of color in this ensemble comes off as a fresh yet understated. One of the things we are always telling our clients, is that great style need not equate to trendy. In fact, the most stylish women we know often live in a simple color palette of white, black, grey, and tan. These are basics and are very stylish! There are a few details to really pay attention to here. First, make sure the shirt is a good quality fabric like this one from THE BLUE SHIRT SHOP. You never want your basics to look cheap, you want them to drape nicely, fit well without pulling, and wear for hours without taking on too many wrinkles and looking sloppy. Roll up the sleeves and throw on a long necklace and viola!  Without those small details, this outfit wouldn't be what it is.

JUMP FOR JOY

A one piece outfit is always a no brainer to style, but who wants to wear dresses every day? We give you the jumpsuit. Effortlessly chic and comfortable, this elastic waisted jumpsuit is fashioned with lace shoulder panels to show off your shoulders and slouchy cropped legs tapered at the calf.  This jumpsuit can be dressed up with heels and accessories #liberteloves or worn with flats, like a pair of fashion sneakers for more of a girl next door look. Only Hearts gives us this "cheat outfit" which is not only super soft, but the relaxed fit is also comfortable to wear when you're not in the mood for something binding or structured.

SUMMER STYLE

If your personal summer style requires a pair of denim shorts and a tank, then look no further than DL1961. We love to style the shorts just as we would our denim.  Dress them up or dress them down, you will live in these throughout the summer.

Having a hard time finding the perfect pair of shorts for your body? Our advice is to think of shorts as a tool to create an illusion. If you are short, opt for short shorts or shorts that hip at the hip line to add length to your legs or torso, respectively. Have a curvy bottom and thighs? Opt for side zip shorts with no pockets to reduce the bulkiness. To elongate your legs, always wear your shorts with wedges or heels: it will make your legs look more toned and give you a bit of a confidence boost!

GOING GREY

Grey jeans continue to be one of our favorites, mostly because they are incredibly versatile and brighten up your look from the average blue denim. Style them through all seasons as a neutral base for your layering and color choices. Several of our clients even prefer the grey denim to white denim because they are often softer and are more forgiving than a classic white denim.

Long story short: you can never go wrong with a pair of grey jeans!

EMBRACE NAUTICAL

This relaxed tee is an update to the traditional nautical boatneck that was made popular in the early 1900s by Coco Chanel, encouraging women to ditch the restricting corsets and just be comfortable! This look is no longer considered a trend, but a STAPLE because of it's easy breezy elegance. Pair this tee with denim and retro sneakers, brightly colored chino shorts and wedge sandals, or layer it under a linen jacket. Make it your go-to top this summer and all your future summers ;)
