IT'S A FREE COUNTRY
The Forth of July isn't just about America's independence. It's about bikinis, barbecues and a day off work. Okay, it is about America's independence, but the other things are a fun way to celebrate the occasion!
The Fourth of July, with the extra day off, is always a great reason to spend time with your loved ones and celebrate your love for this wonderful country. Whether you’re heading to a barbecue or beach bonfire or camping out for fireworks, there’s an outfit for every occasion on Independence Day. On the beach, the look is bikini bottoms and a side-tied tee. Follow our lead, or not. It's a free country. *wink*
CELEBRATE IN STYLE
Independence Day is about the celebration of our freedom…. even fashion freedom. But, don't take your stars and stripe style too far. As a good rule of thumb, people should be saluting the flag not your outfit. You can look super festive in the right combination of colors - and the right accessories to make it more obvious. Don't throw in the towel on your fashion, but do throw in a patriotic towel to mark this Independence Day!
FREEDOM FROM PRESERVATIVES
Our quest is to spoil your sometimes finicky, always worthy skin with the most pure, eco-conscious products possible. After all, you may obsess over what you put in your body, but think about what you put on it. We thought about it, quite a bit actually, and we consciously chose to promote #COOLA because they use as many ingredients as possible that are natural, organic, sustainable and locally sourced, much like the foods we prefer to eat. Green, yet still #luxurious, each of their high performance products protect and nourish the skin with vitamins and age-defying antioxidants, while remaining #free of nasty preservatives. We used these products obsessively during our trip to St Maarten - each day slathering on a thick coat, protecting our skin with this water (and sweat) resistant, broad spectrum high performance sunscreen! And don't forget the kisser, your lips need protection too!
