We want to help you keep your swimsuits just as vibrant as the day you took your first dip. Sunscreens, lotions, deodorant, oils, and chlorine all contain harsh chemicals and minerals, which can cause discoloration if you don’t care for your suit properly.

Just follow these tips from THE LAUNDRESS after each swim to get the most wears: 

 

handwash

  • Always rinse your swimsuit in cool water after swimming

  • We do not recommend putting in the washing machine


pretreat

  • Pretreat stains and discoloration from lotion, sunblock, and oil with The Laundress WASH & STAIN BAR 

  • Lather the bar with tepid water and work it into the fabric


soak it up

  • Submerge in warm water with The Laundress SPORT DETERGENT 

  • Create a mini whirlpool by agitating the water with your hand

  • Let soak for 30 minutes


rinse

  • Rinse the suit well while gently squeezing out water


  • Lay flat to dry

  • colors vibrant longer, soak your swimsuit in a mix of water and 

  • The Laundress SCENTED VINEGAR for 30 minutes
